Transmission Cradle Mounts

These fit Beetle, October of 1952 - 1972 and Bus October 1952 - 1967

In the spirit of preserving factory-like driving comfort, we have produced two different rear transmission mounts. One with a harder shore hardness of 78-durometer; this heavy-duty mount will handle the rigors of more aggressive driving, but with some give to help dampen vibration. The other is a softer blend of rubber, and at 65-durometer will dampen vibration even further and is best for more tame driving levels.

So which mount is best for you? The question is not so much which is best, but which will correspond to your unique driving style and running gear. Either choice you make, both are engineered as the original, using OEM raw materials and construction. Made by Wolfsburg West.
