Camshaft, 40hp-1600cc
Camshafts were supplied from the factory with gears that had slightly different
sizes to fit the specific engine. The only way to know what size your
motor used originally is to visually inspect your old camshaft or
trial and error. The camshaft gear will be marked with the size. Be
careful not to confuse the "0" used to identify the timing
mark with the gear size. Generally the gear size is crudely stamped
in the face of the gear.
